چکیده
We formulate a general relativistic mean field theory for rotating nuclei starting from the special relativistic σ-ω model Lagrangian. The tetrad formalism is adopted to generalize the model to the accelerated frame.

Relativistic Mean Field Description of Nuclear Collective Rotation −the Superdeformed Rotational Bands in the A∼60 Mass Region−
Relativistic Mean Field Theory is applied to the description of rotating nuclei. Since the previous formulation of Munich group was based on a special relativistic transformation property of the spinor fields, we reformulate in a fully covariant manner using tetrad formalism. The numerical calculations are performed for 3 zinc isotopes, including the newly discovered superdeformed band in Zn wh...
متن کاملCranked Relativistic Hartree - Bogoliubov Theory : Formalism and Application to the Superdeformed Bands in the A ∼ 190 region
Cranked Relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov theory without and with approximate particle number projection by means of the Lipkin-Nogami method is presented in detail as an extension of Relativistic Mean Field theory with pairing correlations to the rotating frame. Pairing correlations are taken into account by a finite range two-body force of Gogny type. The applicability of this theory to the des...
متن کاملRotating Nuclei at Extreme Conditions: Cranked Relativistic Mean Field Description
CRMF theory [1,2] represents the extension of relativistic mean field (RMF) theory to the rotating frame and thus provides a natural framework for the description of rotating nuclei at high spin. Available experimental data on rotating nuclei at extreme conditions of large deformation (superdeformation) and fast rotation in different mass regions allow to test the theoretical models (in our cas...
متن کاملCranked Relativistic Hartree-bogoliubov Theory: Superdeformation in the a ∼ 190 Mass Region
A systematic investigation of the yrast superdeformed (SD) rotational bands in even-even nuclei of the A ∼ 190 mass region has been performed within the framework of the cranked relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov theory. The particle-hole channel of this theory is treated fully relativistically, while a finite range two-body force of Gogny type is used in the particle-particle (pairing) channel. U...
متن کاملRelativistic Study of Medium Polarization Effects on Superfluidity in Nuclear Matter
Pairing correlation in nuclear matter has long been studied mainly in neutron matter from a view point of neutron-star physics such as cooling rates . In addition, pairing in nuclear matter with finite Z/N ratio is also becoming of interest as a basic information for the structure theory of finite nuclei, since recent development of RI-beam experiments makes it possible to study N ≃ Z medium-he...
